especially if you want to spend some serious time watching animals in the Lamar. I like the Absaraoka Lodge. I think I would move for the last 2 (or 3) days, for a quicker shot at the southern park highlights. West Yellowstone has a good range of motels. I like Al's Westward Ho--cheap, clean, right at the entrance. Have a blast--you well.
