Probably still cool for the insects to be out. I was there week before last and did not notice any.
Temps are cool in the morning but can warm up during the day. Layers is the best bet.

Wildlife is really visible right now. Elk calves should be dropping by your visit. Wolves are active in Lamar and also around Canyon (Canyon Pack). To see wolves get up early for your best bet.
