Mystic Falls and a 4 yr old

Does anyone have an opinion on how appropriate the Mystic Falls hike would be for a 4 year old? Little Guy loves water falls, but I also want him to love hiking. Is this trail ok for a pre schooler? I thought he could fish a little on the way.

Maybe someday he will be exploring Fairyland Basin, but not with his Mamma!
