It is 32 miles round-trip, with 16 of that being off trail. You need excellent back-country navigational skills and I would highly recommend a GPS in addition to a good map and comp@ss.
The terrain is very steep and dangerous in parts, but totally do-able with proper planning. E-mail me if you would like more info. Because of the remote nature of this trip, I would recommend no less than 3 people on the trip for safety.
