Two and a half miles huh?

When we went into the backwoods of Maine several years ago I found out after I made the reservations that the campground was 23 miles back in on dirt and gravel roads. Oh, and did I mention that these were forest company owned roads and they charged a toll of several dollars PER PERSON in the vehicle to use their roads?

Two and a half miles is something to think a bit about, but nothing compared to our Maine experience.
